Yup, LensBaby 2.0 - these are the rooftops visible from my New York apartment balcony, in summer. I agree, were it not for the LB I would not have taken such a shot. I don't care how this does here on WS, but I wanted to post it to share it. This shot really embodies how I feel about NY in the summer - I can smell and hear the City. We've had this apartment for 27 years, I went to college two blocks from here - behind the bland pink building (back left of image) that was recently built on the corner of Broadway and Columbus Ave. I dated a girl in the dark red brick building, but we realized we had nothing in common except a well-meaning friend. I've been to a party on the rooftop center-left, but that was a long time ago and I think it's changed occupants at least twice since then.

Care for a beer? Can you hear car horns and bass bumpers driving by? Can you smell the pollen and the garbage and the barbeque and the sweat? It's very humid today...

When I was a teenager my parents would go out to gallery openings, and my friends and I used to sit on the balcony smoking joints. I bet mine were better than whatever my parents were smoking.

Not sure how I'm going to explain that my kids in the near future...LOL

I don't like that effect. I'd rather actually be able to SEE where you are from. This distorts it too much for my taste. I know others will love this, however.

Very relevant to the theme but I personally don't think that the off focus works here. It actually makes me dizzy :).

I think I'd prefer this as a straight shot than with the lensbaby(?). Doesn't really add anything to it, IMO.

The blur makes me very dizzy and I don't think the application works here. I think this would have worked so much more without it.

There's no ignorance in not recognizing a LensBaby shot. It's a gimmick, nothing more.
