This is the lake right outside my house and is one of my favorite places to walk, both alone and with my children, contemplate and capture images...

This has a beautiful fairy tale quality to it that I am not sure I like when it applies to this theme. The texture of the fence and gate is quite unusual.

It sort of works in a dreamy way. I'm not so sure about the processing but I like the composition and the fence line is striking though I don't really enjoy it's unreal texture because of the processing.

Do you have a tutorial on how to do this? Is this HDR? If the processing to be fascinating and very beautiful.

I usually have no problem with describing how an image was processed, however with this one (as with many of my older images), I've lost the original PSD. It was taken last year with my Nikon D50 so it was most likely a three bracketed shot, HDR'd and tone mapped with photomatix. All of my images have added contrast, selective color and color balance changes. Since it was summer, I don't remember if the haze is natural or if I created it.
