good idea, but to my humble opinion, the shadow at the top could be cropped.

Setaou: Maybe so, I wanted to give an impression of the length of the neck continuing off-frame, but the shadow got a touch too dark.

Lemmingstone: it's delightful instrument, and well-worth exploring if you can afford one. It takes some time to get used to intonating precisely, but the rewards in tone control and expression more than makes up for it.

gruner - yep. They sound fantastic. I play bass ok and used to play cello (not so ok) so who knows.
