While I recognize this as relevant to the theme I am not so sure that it is easily recognizable to the masses. Besides that this is a wonderfully graphic image and the shallow DOF really makes the foreground pop.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback. I was afraid the turntable might not be recognizable (and therefore musical) enough, but thought I'd give it a shot. It looks like that suspicion was right, but I'm glad to see that at least a couple of you have recognized it and appreciate it anyway! :)

Very slick, I like this. Ultra sharp. What lens did you use or was it unsharp mask. So crisp!

mooch: I sharpened the raw image a bit, but the lens probably helped a bit too. It was a 35 mm f/2 Nikkor lens. Shot at f/4.
