Not totally sure about the composition (I think the bag's more a distraction than anything), but overall I like this shot. High marks.

Oh I was really rooting for this shot. The thing that detracts from this very touching moment is the composition. The guy is too centered and on either side, especially the right side, you have such interesting elements. Shifted either left or right, I would have given you higher ratings on impact and composition.

Sad, captivating, thought provoking and more. I find this image to be quite an accomplishment for you can get a real feel for this person and his life.
