I like the idea of these two disparate characters united in the music but the music stand is too intrusive and distracting. I know there's no way to crop it out, but isn't that a case for the photographer needing to move in order to create an interesting composition?

zorilla - totally agree with the composition comment, but unfortunately I was somewhat restricted by a barrier (you know how wild those orchestra crowds can be!). Moving to the left would have brought in a whole heap of other distractions over the woman's shoulder.
