Wonderful expression, great portrait. I don't think I'm a fan of the slight warmer tone, preferring a true black and white.

Very well done, overall. The image stopped me up and made me look closer.

I don't think this is a George Illes photo, but it reminds me of something he might create--the innocent spirit, good nature and fun.

Did you use a fog filter on this shot? There is something about the way the highlights bleed into the shadows that makes this look like the image is deliberately degraded (there are other ways to do this).

Anyway, I like this, although I wish the white shirt didn't dominate the visual center of the image. High marks, on average.
