Milk? Glue? I'm curious for sure....I think in this case, the frozen action of movement works better, simply because the background is so neutral and any blur might get lost. Really nice photo.

Hmmm, I was in the process of evaluating this, about to type my comment, when it got featured. Cool.

Was this shot on film, then scanned? Did you boost the ISO to get a faster shutter speed? There are two light sources here. Did you set this up with flash? or a combination of natural light and flash? Just curious.

All of the above, the plate was set near a large window and I also bounced my flash off a white umbrella.

It was shot in a DSLR at 400-800 ISO.
