Nice colors and soft shading on edges. The object in center loses the impact a little for me though. Is it dead? Looks like it.

This was a baby squirrel that fell out of a tall pine tree in our back yard. Yes, it is very dead... and I think it hit a few branches on the way down. While some might find it "gross" I see it as a part of life...and the curling of his little body, and the pine needles that fell on him like a blanket, made this a composition worth photographing, IMO. Not for all, I understand, but for me, a moment that was powerful and full of questions about life, and death.
