I honestly don't know what to say to this. It's a very odd moment...the reality of war, the spirt of not leaving the fallen behind....but they're made of sand and the dude is just staring at them....trying to read what the bucket says....

Beamer...should've guessed this to be yours. I gave it good marks but I honestly just sat there for the longest time, taking it in...this is a great way to remind people of the reality of war.
Nicely captured.

cool shot, but hopefully his days work will last more than a moment. then, i guess the art work is capturing a moment too!

Touching and makes me wonder...is he the artist or just admiring?

This is the artist contemplating his work and resting. He was calling out "Support the Arts!!" and had a couple of collection buckets. This really made me stop and think and obviously point and shoot.

Wish the bike weren't there. Otherwise very interesting.

The sand sculpture is quite interesting. Not much impact for me on the image as a whole.

I guess it's your perspective. I had a brother die in the military, this scene really grabbed me. I think this image is a solid "documentary" style shot of a poignant scene. Can't ask a sand artist to move his bike...

A well deserved rest - cool moment. Shame about the bike and I wish I could read the bucket
