I know this shot. Very precious and thoughtful. I could write at least 1000 words about it! :)

Lost in a moment....very nice capture. I wish the face had a bit more fill light but that's a very minor detail in light of this beautiful photograph.

Very sweet portrait - I might have cropped out most of the left of the image altogether, and made it portrait orientation. Lovely colours and sharpness - high marks.

Thank you all, I wonder did I post this too late in the week to get enough ratings (I need 7 more to see my score).
Flipthom - I did try to lighten the face in photoshop, I guess I didn't do it enough, next time I will push it a little more :)

Jem- thanks, good idea, I may just try that!

I know this shot, and its perfect for this theme. Theres so much tied up in that expression. If I was to criticise at all, it would be to crop some of the left hand side off, it doesnt do a lot for the image

I agree with Jem, cropping to portrait would do the trick, could also allow you to push the light on the face

nice - why the exaggerated green? does it really add to distort the colours - the gesture and expression are enough

Very nice image, this one really pulls me in. I'm a little unsure about the color treatment, but that's minor, high marks from me.

Thank you all! I am delighted that you could see what I could see in this moment.
About the coloring - I have toyed with this and many other photos, processing them in the original color, b&w and what I call 'faded color' and often find myself drawn to the latter. I don't necessarily think I am improving the image, I am the first to admit I have a long way to go in that department, but I think I am adding my vision or feel to it. When I view other folks work I don't necessarily have the same bias, so this preference seems to be in my output or expression. And anyhow, the greens in the original of this one were a bluish green which is a color I simply don't like, so this pic was bound to be altered.
I am enjoying seeing the photos of so many others. I am glad that Stolenlife invited me here. Thanks Pete!
(I hope it is not too uncool for me to comment on my own pic this much :)

This is an exquisite image, everything from the water droplets to the colour cast really adds to the mood here. Nicely done and very relevant.
