To me this is an image that while a close-up technically it just doesn't have any visual "oomph". It comes across as a documentary type image of a colorful glass bottle. Technically the image is fine but the content doesn't holds little emotional appeal to the viewer (or at least it does me and I think it would like carry over for others).

If this image had poison spilling out, or showed the poison aspect in a more conceptual way, it would have more impact and appeal.

That's what good feedback is for. I thought that the skull and crossbones and the word POISON were enough visual impact, but your suggestion to have a little white powder spilling out is an awesome one. Though this IS a collectible and I wonder about tampering with the cork.

Hmmm...ART or collectible? No real choice is there. ;p
