Pretty cool to look at. I find myself looking for the glass bulb around the filament. Great image.

PJT: yes,it was shot through the bulb, after cleaning it VERY well...;-)
Flatline: Tripod mounted, focussed on the bulb turned off, set aperture to 32 and ISO to 100 then switched the light on and let the 20D calculate the exposure, which ended up being a surprising (to me) 1/8 sec

Thanks Jan, just curious about what you reckon I cut off? That is the filament at the top, nothing much above that.
