This is very different. I like the different angle, the use of a wide angle for the close-up even though it really opens the question of it being a "macro" (it still fits the theme IMO). The toning is really cool. The sharpness may be just a touch too much but it really makes the image "nail me" in the head. Not sure what I get from the image as a concept or what it says to me but still cool.

Well, I really don't like this one so much. First of all, I wouldn't necessarily this as a macro, though I may be wrong. Also, there's something about the processing that really gets to me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I don't know, just for my personal taste this doesn't appeal so much.
