Perhaps I've lost my mind but I love this image. Perhaps it is because I already know what it is which is tiny lettuce seeds that have just germenated. The entire soil pellet is only 1 inch wide. I don't know how many of the 13 ratings giving this a 2.1 overall had Mac's but on any of our 3 macs screens this image is perfectly how I wanted it. The dirt/peat is brown speckled all across, the seeds are a nice golden oak and avacodo green and the root hairs white and cottony. On the dell at work (PC's have a darker gamut than mac's) it sucked and was indeed too dark. This has been an issue previously with dark images on my photoblog. Alas....
