Hi, Michael! I know this is yours, and it's still breathtaking no matter how many times I see it. Fives across the board.

MBrown said 528 days ago:

Thanks Judith!

By the way, ... started adding the new blog/journal links to the new site, and finally got yours in there as well.
(I'm so far behind!) :)

Take care girl,
Mike

Wow. So fleshy. It's very interesting. There are quite a lot of parts of the image to look at...I wonder if there are too many, in fact.

Excellent, I remember this from your blog. The detail is powerful.

I have no idea what this is, but whatever it is, you have turned it into a very compelling, and I have to say....extremely sexual/erotic.....abstract.

Nice work ;)

I should have known this was you Michael!

Amazing. I suppose it's part of a flower, but the folds, texture and colours - it's so fleshy.

Thanks gang!

It is a part of my "Slices" series, to where you take a bud from a flower that is maybe a week or two from opening, peel open the bud exposing the fresh insides, then compose and shoot.
You can get a bit more info here in this post.

Interesting, ... and fun to do!

Thanks again,
Mike

Interesting technique Michael. Super image. I agree with the others it does have a very fleshy feel to it.
