interesting idea but it doesn't really grab my attention. also a little on the soft side which doesn't go so well with the idea of the eye staring right at you

This is funny, but it's missing a little something.

A bit burry. It would have more impact if the eye wasn't so close to the top piece of wood.

this image is very blurry. a little too blurry.

Hey Roberta- This definately standsout as a thumbnail from a composition and impact point of view. I do agree it's just too motion blurred though looking at it large. Love that you chose to leave that much board at top too. Works great that way.

Thanks. I have to go look at my original again b/c it may be more a case of my processing causing the blurring. I've had a rash of soft/blurry images lately and Vernon was kind enough to show how proper processing changes that. See the thread at Vazaar about this: http://www.vazaar.com/topic:light-and-shadows/responses/response:66/#2867

Roberta- I sent you an email about sharpening.

Thelma, you might be part of a minority, but you aren't alone. I do think it depends on the image itself though. Not all images work if they are soft, and not all work sharpened. Sometimes I really like those super sharp images that almost jump off the screen at you, other times I do not. Depends on the subject and overall mood of the image.

ah, wish the eye were a bit clearer, but good looking through!
