I really wish the framing were a bit better, to include the whole statue outside. Maybe that wasn't possible, but would have made for a better 'view' in the looking through.

i don't feel i'm looking either through nor at the metallic structure. both seem blurred.

I get what you're saying Ana. This is looking up through the Louvre glass pyramid out to the stone facade of the museum.

Interesting composition and treatment. The foreground bars and wires (which I assume are the "looking through" part) to me is actually the subject of the image, since the background is fairly uniform and doesn't have a main focus that leaps out, to my eye.

I like the black and white, the grain, and the contrast. I even like the dof. I think that the photo would have more impact if the reliefs on the building were framed by the shapes in the foreground. WIth the bar (?) cutting through the faces and upper torso of the figures it gives us more of a sense of looking at the bars rather than through them at the building behind.
