trying to figure out what kind of glass that is... a rectangle vase, maybe? would be neat to have the trees in focus, and a bit of the out of focus through the glass.

A rectangular vase, exactly. And there's a window behind it, so I guess there's 2 objects to be looked through in this shot, although I admit the window is impossible to spot :) I agree, Ana, the trees could have been better focused.

Nice image, although I don't find it relevant. To me the glass is the subject, not the background behind or through the glass. But I do like the simple crispness and the bokeh.
