I like the idea, but I think the colors are throwing me off. I see the spider web in the window as well, but I wish it was more visible.

Just to clarify: it's not a window, it's an iron gatepost at the entrance to a park. Part of the purpose of the image was that the focus is on the gate, not the park beyond - like a secret garden you can't ever get to.

Chris - Now that I read your comment, I understand what bothers me about the shot. By focusing on the gate, you take me farther away from the theme of looking through. I'm really looking "at" the gate instead, and all the stuff "through" the gate is really just negative space.
