Nice shot. This shot works with the focus on the net because you instantly know that it's a soccer game. Great posing of the goalie waiting for the ball.

I like this. Part of me wishes the focus was on the player and not the net, but a bigger part of me likes it just the way it is.

I think this photo is perfect except for one thing... needs a visible ball in the shot in the out of focus area.

Thank you guys for all your votes and comments. Everyone who was trying to shoot sport knows how it is hard to make perfect picture. Im not a professional photographer just self learning amateur.
Anyway its nice to be featured and I promise to give back something from me to the WS community after term.

Hi GeoS. Congrats on the feature. As a pro who shoots a ton of sports I think this is a nice image that conveys tension about the sport and the goal. I think that for me you don't really need a "perfect" picture (never happen) but there is at least one thing that to me would have made this even better. That would be to get the goalies feet in too. As it is now with space up top but cropped at the bottom it doesn't work as well as it could IMHO. Now if for some reason that wouldn't be possible crop this same image from the top to just above the head of the goalie and you achieve a balance and it takes away from the feeling that there should be more at the bottom. The ball, or no ball in this case, doesn't bother me as the concept of waiting for the action is conveyed well here.
