mmmh looking up?

The sky is very striking, but I wish I could see more clear detail in the buildings and architecture. The almost sillohette doesn't make it feel like you're looking up.

Ana said 607 days ago:

this is a very 'forward' looking shot, and not much to see 'up.' The building is very dark, would like to see more detail.

Nick said 607 days ago:

Not really looking up. Wish the building eitherf had more or less details.

I'm not so sure its great choice for this theme. I think it's a lovely photo but I think it should either show more detail or be totally silhouette with a slightly different crop.

Can't say this is looking up. I do like the silhouette and the contrast between the orange sky and the foreground.

Thanx for the comment, folks.

I was thinking about that a lot - what "up" is actually. I saw a lot of pictures submitted for this theme that I would consider more "forward" than up - just like this one, you're totally right - but saw that they weren't really criticized for that - so I thought I would give it a try :))) See, King's one of the station platform even got selected (not as if it wasn't worth it, sure :) This building is some 200 meteres above ground level, but shot from a distance so the angle is much less than 45 degrees thus it is not really looking up, no doubt so I deserved the low relevance score.

But, be sure, my third image is going to be about looking up in the strictest sense of the word :))))
