I really want to see this in color. Somehow the sepia doesn't fit for me.

this guy is obviously looking down, but you are looking up,... sort uf, not up enough to be looking up.
impact and composition play together on this one, i think it would be more interesting if you would not have place the subject in the center of the image! maybe getting more bellow of the rider and using a wider angle, the whole thing would become a lot more dramatic, whereas it would be great when you could see the ground, the rider, and the sky, so quite wide! but that gives the viewer an idea of how high he is, and where he jumps to!

This rocks! Ok, the treatment is maybe not what everyone would choose, but the image itself demands attention, and as such get's high scores from me.

Looking up and down at the same time. I like it.

This could have a painful outcome. Nice shot. I like the treatment.

Thanks, All :-)
@Jarrett (gorin-images), I know it's hard to tell, but I was crouching down to get this shot as the biker shot up the dirt jump. Perhaps it's the wider than 50mm "angle" (don't recall what it was) that gives it the horizontal feel. The jumps are 6 to 7 feet high, and only their tops peek up (highly exposed) at the bottom of the frame.
@kadenjack, I know what you mean. Sometimes I like it...sometimes not.
@Chriz, I'm getting up the cojones to get down in the space between the jump and the landing to try and get the shot you describe. Wish me luck!

Get up the cojones to be the guy on the bike, set the shutter of "B", and post the results.

Simply amazing.

King, I know you're pulling my leg, but just to complete the "story," this fellow didn't quite make it all the way over, and smacked the ground pretty hard, snapping his bike frame in two on the way.
Here's a close up:

This is a cool image, but I don;t think it is relevant. Your camera is basically horizontal to the ground, so this really isn;t "above" you.
