I feel compelled to give you high marks in every category for a photograph that I actually don't like. There is something very eye-catching in the thumbnail (like bombers over the S of L), but when I discover ducks flying in the wrong direction, I feel cheated. This isn't really a criticism. I'm trying to explain why I don't like this really good photograph.

Thanks everybody, I really appreciate your comments and positive ratings. Not featured with a 3.7, times are difficult. :o)
I notice there are two contradictory comments about the shadows. I'd be interested to read further comments on that...
@King: do you mean my comment was unkind? Because that was not the idea. I'm asking this because sometimes the intention is not very clear in the words themselves. You try a joke and it's taken seriously by the reader.
On how people should or "must" express themselves, I think I'll try to answer on WS discussion group...

My meaning was that I did not intend to be unkind to you. I didn't know it was your photograph, of course, but it is not my favorite of your work.

This is a good photograph, but there is something about the geese/ducks that displeases me, I think.
