I can't believe ANYONE is taking this image seriously. I am clearly discarding one opportunity for a featured shot simply to mercilessly yank pursang's chain.

However, I'm very glad that a few folks got a smile out of it. I promise to be more reverent (to WS) and relevant (to the Theme) next time.

If this is not featured, I'll continue to do ballerinas! King, this is something I will always remember and the levity you've offered here is invaluable. I always knew you were a dancer! ;-)

It's not featured because my Relevance ratings are *KILLING* me. What I want to know is why a ballerina on her tippy toes in the surf (how ridiculous) is Relevant for the "Alone" them but a black, transvestite ballerina in a tutu three sizes too small for him/her, with a lovely Taos sunset in the background is not Relevant for "Look Up." S/he's looking up, for Pete's sake!

Why is everyone so narrow minded and literal? No wonder that the most artistic WS photographers have trouble ever getting a shot featured. This is discouraging. I may never submit another photograph!

I too am narrow minded and would have rated this image much higher had you included you in the image looking up his tutu. Learn from your mistakes and maybe you'll get featured again at some distant point in the future! Great, now I'll be laughing myself to sleep...

King, you Fat Bastard*, we don't care for your faux snivelling. It's so OBVIOUS why this hasn't been featured (the terrible sidelighting tragically underexposes the right side of his/her face). Most importantly, we'll only be satisfied with another equally hilarious shot today.
