This doesn't shout at me, like some of the other highriser images did. What was is it George said about my first....It didn't tell a story...what story does this one tell then George...?

I posted this one more for the geometric forms when I looked up rather than the story. Each photo doesn't necessarily need to tell a story in my opinion...

Excellent composition and post processing. The lines really draw the eyes into the image. Good work.

beautiful black and white image, I love the way the shapes encourage the eye to go up.

@emich,
As long as human photographers take photos, there is a story, no matter how slight and inconsequential, to every photograph, IMHO.
That doesn't mean it's an interesting story, or that we would want to tell it, or even remember it. But the story exists, IMHO.

...sorry, emich, I forgot to add my Congratulations!

@psychodudu, in this particular case there're many stories ;-) All you needed for the grain silo shot was a bunch of them one of top of the other* ;-) Kidding aside, to me the geometry and sky are interesting visual features of this shot. As far as a "story" goes, I see a couple: "humanity's domination over nature" (or, one might say, *attempt* to dominate nature); "homage to the modern superstructure"; and "how small we are."
At any rate, congrats emich!

i think it would be perfect if there would be only the triangle part of the building ;)
b/w is great. it gives the picture a nice monotone atmosphere.
