That's ALOT of pigeons! I am so glad that's not my roof.

Very funny picture. From a technical perspective, the sky doesn't quite seem right, and perhaps the shot could have been tighter. But the humour factor is great.

That house must be giving off a good heat!

Did-you render the sky using a filter (difference clouds) ?
King said 569 days ago:
I've never seen such a thing. I like the treatment here. It's subtle, doesn't get in the way of the subject and preserves enough of the mundane (wires, bushes, a/c units) to complement the abundance of common pigeons.
High marks, even though that sky looks suspiciously like Photoshop > Filter > Render > Clouds.

King is right, I know the PS sky is no good, but it's better than a blown out sky (all white). I'm not in the habit of doing so much PS manipulation, btw.

Mike,
You are so wrong...I don't mind it a bit, and I think you've used it with restraint. It's just that I spotted it because I've used it so often on snapshots.
I have salvaged many travel photographs that are published on my site by using this technique. I do try to blend it with the existing sky, or add some gradation of appropriate color.

Hi King, it's my first time as you could tell. Happy New Year, and hope to see more of your pics and comments.

Hi, Mike. I didn't count off for the clouds because my hunch was that it's application improved the basic image. I hope you can tell from my remarks that I like this photograph.
Happy New Year to you, too.

Interesting capture. I think this could be composed a bit better though.

Ahh to be a cat on that roof.....
Is that really the sky that was behind the house? It's a very regular pattern.
