This is highly post-processed. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it makes hard perceive that it is a long exposure. The clouds look extremely unnatural, which makes me wonder if it is an image quality issue, or the processing.

Not sure what you've done to this photo, but it's heavily posterised (banding in the colours). Not to my taste, but others might like it.

this really appeals to me in a 'photo shop' sort of way. I like the effects, but the image quality seems to have been hampered for the effect?

I would totally agree with what daaave said... Even the photo is not my taste either. But i Just thought i would check and see how people would think of a photo like this...

I liked the photo except it looks like it was fried in radioactive material with the sky getting all pixelated from overprocessing.
