this is wonderful and very relevant. I think you could have cropped a bit off the top, to just above those ornamental shapes on the wall. That might give more focus to the floor and shadows.

Nicely controlled highlights in this one. I like the repetition. It lacks impact though, and Im not sure why

Nice subject, nice exposure. The composition could be better, a little too tight at the top and I would go a little tighter on the right to loose the beige edge that's outside the red.

Good image that may have been made better through different composition. The upper portion of the image containing the first lit archway is a bit distracting and unbalances the image. Cropping just above the rail of the first full arch would yield this piece more balanced.

The colours in this seem a bit muddy. I'd like to see this as a B&W, maybe with a bit more contrast.

Beautiful lines

thanks guys :D most of you have said similar things about composition, so ill look into that :)

@montage.. i never even thought at b&w.. ill have a play with it.

Beautifully relevant.

Classic and beautiful! It is wonderful that the grating in the windows is not seen except in shadow form... adds an additional dimension.

I think this would be really strong in black and white- have you ever converted it?
