Great mood and lighting in this shot. I find the dark areas are just a little too dark however, but still high marks overall.

this is really impressive. I love the places where the light is bright, and I love the darkness in back of the building. The best part are the windows out back, that you can see through. Nice find.

Matt, I 'thought' this might be Alcatraz's main quarters for the guards, but was not sure. Now that you mention it, I see that it is in fact that building. I'm puzzled as to why this is not featured, as the image is so well composed and the tones are spot on.

Hey Mark, thanks for the compliment, but I'm guessing that most people who see this think, "dilapidated old building" not "architecture." That, and the speed rating element. It is puzzling, because the folks who commented all indicate higher scores, and yet the overall is only 3.3, so who knows...I don't really care much anymore.

Matt, being featured or not is no indication of whether an image is 'good' or not in my opinion. WS is simply a place to allow people to see your art and I'm glad to have the chance to view yours.
