Jukkasjärvi..yes. It's amazing isn't it! I was quite happy with this shot, considering I had no photographic skills while I was there!

Well, to be perfectly honest, I found it a bit boring and much preferred the Lapland landscapes around it (so much so that next month, it will be the third time I go back there).

There are several things that seem wrong with this shot, but the main one is that it lacks a proper subject. One can't even see clearly what that thing in front of the pillar is (a chair?) and nothing is really in focus. The left pillar on the foreground doesn't really add anything to the composition, I think it would have been much better if you had positioned yourself a couple meters more to the right, so that the chair thing is not in front of the central pillar anymore and that the left pillar is a bit further away and can stand as a proper subject and help draw the gaze to the depth of the room.

So I take it you're heading there in the summer? Is it nicer in Summer than in winter?
