Interesting compo and a good use of light. A little noisy though. ;)
Magician378 said 384 days ago:
I like the noise. Gives it an old and historic look.

Thanks for the kinds words. My wife and I were in Washington DC and we had very limited time to see the sites. By the time we got to the WWII memorial it was well past midnight. There were only a few other folks there. I just happened to stumble upon this young man.
He seemed to be meditating or praying. I didn't want to interrupt him so I set up my shot from quite a distance and used every bit of my 200mm. I'm pretty sure he never knew I was there.

This is awesome, great for the theme. The light really compliments the architecture, and the silhouette in the foreground is a great bonus.

Very nice. The light and contrast are lovely. To me, it's more about the person than the architecture, but still, nice.

Thank you. The person made the shot for me, but I still thought the relevance was pretty high. Worth posting regardless. This is one of my very favorite photos and I do appreciate all of the kind words.

JimiThing, congratulations and the human figure makes the shot for me as well.

Love this. Unfortunately for this theme there's a bit more emphasis on the figure instead of the architecture.
