Wonderful Composition! The clarity is perfect for the person/his hand/cigar, etc, and the background is unfocused... very nice.

The image creates a story for me, that is certain. What is the fellow's story? Although we do not know, for me the image suggests he may be a motorcyclist, and his facial expression definetly suggests he is experiencing joy in life. The cigar adds impact, because most cigar smokers (especially younger ones) tend to be people "living life large" and therefore tend to take bigger bites of life and live life with gusto and joy.

Thank you Lange. You are correct, the man in this image was attending the a vintage motorcycle show located on the coast in the Bay Area of California. He was especially happy as his rare vintage Norton was being honored with several awards. The cigar you see was hand rolled by a service brought in for the event.
