Oh man how I wish this image could be just a little taller so that it could get moreof the sky above those tress, and just a little space below her chin. Still, the joy is evident onher face, and I just have to say that I really like the unconventional way you captured a person at nice close "personal" distance, and so muchof the interesting background behind her. It makes this very unique.

Strangely this works very well. The composition is fabulous and it conveys joy well.
I think the colour is a little off, a bit too green. Personally, I would have done some work with the clone tool to get rid of that rock behind her head, but that's just me being finicky.
Overall a great shot.

Yeah, a touch more space below the chin would have been nice, but it doesn't need much.

Too bad she isn't a bit more in the frame. This is wonderful.

I like the idea of this. Wish she was just a little more in the frame, but it's a really nice candid moment.

great shot. the composition is interesting... i hated it at first glance, but the more i look at it, the more i dig it. maybe it's one of those "so wrong it's right" kinda things. nice one.

was she trying to duck out of the way?

I really like what this shot is going for - the composition could be tweaked slightly to make an even stronger impression - do you have an outtake where her head's a bit higher? Something that shows the tops of those trees more? I'd also like to see the shadows lifted some - it's a big dark on my monitor (which might be my problem), but with a lighter touch would convey the free-spiritedness of your subject. Really nice. Great energy!
