I love this shot! Is it "joy" though? I can't tell. That little beauty sure is inquisitive though. I wonder if it could use a bit more contrast in the face - some might say it could be framed a bit further, but I really like the closeness, really gets to the heart of how this little gal's feeling. Very nice!

YES!! JOY!! No question I see it here. I wonder what this would look like as a perfectly square crop with more of the left side cropped off? The imapact here is all from the eyes (definitely) nose and mouth so you would still have that, but the composition might be slightly improved....or not. It is one of those things you would have to just try and then see how it looked. Thank goodness for the "Step Backward" and "Step Forward" commands huh ;)
