Excellent!! The exposure really allows us to see the surface texture, and the sky looks really clean. Very nice.

I didn't think I would like this one based on the thumbnail image but when I opened it I was amazed at how the moon seemed to have an inner glow to it. What I originally thought was typical became alot more. Nice work.

I like this a lot. It's really straightforward, uncomplicated and, perhaps because of its simplicity, very effective.

Thanks, everyone - this is one of my earliest dSLR images and I was pleased as punch at the result. This one was shot with a Canon 300D and the long end of an EF 75-300 budget lens on a slightly overcast night which provided just the right intervening layer of clouds to add to the atmosphere here...
