Wonderfully interesting perspective on the pipe. I like the variety of textures and range of hues. The "prickly" look to the beard and moustache seems highly appropriate for this image. One aspect I do not like is the rather distracting background behind the person to the left. If that had been muted or washed out it would be a stronger image.
