Thanks Tom. Now I'm suitably abashed I wasn't more positive about your shot here, which was possibly your intent, but never mind that. I won't assign motives to you. :)

But after looking at your own site, I'm not sure whether you are taking the piss. I didn't see a bad shot on your blog at all, in fact I thought most of them were bloody amazing. And from the look of it, you are definitely using better lenses than me :) So if you really mean that about my blog, I am honoured indeed.

Anyway, to comment further on this shot, I would say it's a cheeky shot, in that without the context of this theme is a bit empty in content, or at least a bit confusing or meaningless. I have to admit though, that the light is beautiful here and the framing and dof is spot on.

I meant 100% every word I said about your work and it stands as an inspiration to me.......which is something I always look for and in fact need to improve my photography and to appreciate the artistry of others.
