Good idea and great colours, but composition doesn't work for me, the background is too distracting and doesn't guide the eye towards the main subject.

I like the colors and lines, but have to say I don't know what the object is. A life preserver? An alarm system?

I assume this is a life ring of some sort.
There is really nothing to confirm that for me though.

Great colours and composition. I am not a nautical person but I am assuming that the item in the for ground is some kind of flotation device but not one I recognize. Very nice capture.
