I wonder if that bird can fly. I see that the bird is wet, but I cannot see if it is due to heat, or if it was raining.

I give that last critique 2/5. You can see well defined shadows if you look at the photo, so obviously it was sunny and not raining, which I agree doesn't necessarily imply heat any more than wetness does, but it was hot.

Looks cool and refreshing to me. Unlike some of the shots where you see people in fountains etc., this one doesn;t really say heat to me. I've seen these pigeons bathe in puddles like this when it's 62 degrees outside. So the 'heat" isn;t evident to me even though I guess it musthave been pretty hot the day you shot this photo.
