Beautiful image, but I think it would help a lot to straighten it.

Really great flame capture and oh so relevant.

the heat of the flames...
very relevant.

Fire is HOT! So this is relevant. is it a multiple exposure though? I have witnessed a number of large-scale wildfires first hand and the 25 to 45 foot tall flames they generate don;t look like that. These look like a closeup of much smaller flames with the fence superimposed in front of them. So I'm curious what were the actual circumstances surrounding this shot.

Also, it would be improved greatly if you rotated it slightly to make the fenceline parallel to the bottom of the frame.

But the combinationof dark black silhouette and bright orange fire is really nice.

Ooooohhh its a grill in front of normal sized flames! Amazing what context (or lack of context) does to perception huh ;) I still think you shouldmake the grill parallel to the rame though........

thanks for the comments. it seems you figured it out. it's actually the same fire from a photo i used for the 'old' theme - gy with bill clinton hairdo. ;)

the slight tilt, tho, helps with the idea (maybe) that the flames are about to leap over the 'fence'...

thanks again.
