Oops!Shoulda asked permission to shoot her!
This could be a fine feature.

I can't say this goes with the tattoos because I don't have any and I have made the same gesture to photographers. The image doesn't move me or stir me, though. I'm just being shot the finger. Enough of that.

An "in your face" type of take on Hands 2... to be sure. Nice execution of the image. Colorful and well defined. Looks like the finger has a hangnail which could be painful.

King/Tanja: a matter which perhaps should be explained here is that in Scandinavia the porcelain cups are recognizable as Royal Danish china, a status symbol and mark of those with cultural capital. So there is some juxtaposition here, but I agree that this is not the best possible composition in general.

Good idea, would have been stronger though if you had cropped out the lower cup and tray. Just the finger and the tea cup in the background are fun enough.

Just goes to show you,you can't buy class!

Hummingbird said 460 days ago:

This is definitely about hands.

EXP said 458 days ago:

More like a finger rather than a hand. I dunno, sometimes going for shock value doesn't equate to a good shot.

gruner said 458 days ago:

Hmm. I must admit I didn't think anyone would think of this as shocking in this day and age.
