Nice shot! Now the feds won't have to fingerprint you.

If I had taken this photo in a deliberate sort of way, I would have found a way to darken the upper left corner so the hand would separate better from the background.

Nice composition, technically quite nice. High marks.

Good point about darkening the upper left corner. Before posting I opened it in PS to see if I could quickly figure out how to burn that area in a bit...but the solution didn't immediately fall into my out stretched hand. So I didn't.

Hi Tracy. I've been very busy, photographically and otherwise. On the photo front, for example, this weekend I have four shooting gigs: two headshot sessions, a philanthropic fund raising event, and an engagement shoot. I also got a new lens (which this shot was taken with) and a flash, both of which are taking a lot of learning, particularly the flash. Yikes. It's fun! Thanks for asking.

Very nice. I like the detail of the fingerprints on the tips of the fingers. The small sphere is attractive and since it reflects the photographer, it could also serve as a type of self portrait as well.
