This has a bit of a Vernon Trent quality--nicely designed, clear point of focus, shallow depth of field, somewhat abstract.

In enjoying this image, I really want to know what that off-white, curved, textured tube is. I could guess and guess, I guess, and not get it right.

My hunch is that this is not a posed photograph. If it were posed, I would be a bit more critical about some of the finer points.

High marks, on average.

This is about as candid a photo as they come. A simple caption would be helpful: "In Labor".

Heh, I put the camera down shortly after this... the risks became too great... both to my camera AND to my personal well-being. :)

This was taken about 3-1/2 hours before my second daughter was born. It's one of the few pictures I'm allowed to post. :)

From the thumbnail I thought she was holding a steering wheel. Now it looks like something else that you could use in the back seat of a car. A thought-provoking image that I like.

George, I too thought she was holding a steering wheel, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger! Tracy told me that is was not a steering wheel. This image is so warm and sensual. But being in labor is anything BUT sensual...!

I've been pog (or some derivative) for long enough online that it's become who I am, in a sense. I could have gone with "Jimmy" but then there'd be no continuity from one forum to the other. :)

Most of the people photos on my site are of friends and relatives. Most of the scenes are from my area... so, looking at those, I think you could know a lot about me! :)

I'm still pretty new to photography... it's only been a couple of years really. I came here to this site via Tom here. Rather, several steps from Tom but I know them all between me and Tom. :)
