Technically, a great shot. High marks.

Some will say this is more about water than about hands. I say those people aren't paying attention. This is a masterful photograph, although with some minor flaws and strange qualities. I'd guess Dan Creighton, which is about the highest compliment I can give this image.

This needs no more comments...this is excellent and stunning...

I like this a lot but I wish I could see more of the hand, and, in particular the blurry/smudgy thumb tip doesn't work for me. The lost detail in the bottom left corner throws weight there which to me would be better served if it had detail like the rest of the water. The sluice of water on the right with the hole through it is deliciously lovely. Overall a very interesting image with some minor-ish detractions for me.
