I think the varying opacity of ghost takes away from the image

I'm going to post another one tomorrow Jens. That one has someone on the bed (and in the chair... and ...)

Ana said 567 days ago:

would have more impact with a crumpled white sheet or an unkempt bed? great shot, though.

VernonTrent said 567 days ago:

GREAT composition. WOW.

photografica said 567 days ago:

Bill, the opacity isn't varied. Apart from the conversion, it's a straight shot. It's just the way the light fell...

Nice mood with a tug at the emotions.

A solid entry

I love this photo, for all it's simplicity....and correct me if I am wrong on the idea of this but it could be construed in a few different ways.

The man sitting next to the bed he used to sleep in, or perhaps next to the bed he shared with his significant other...still mourning...very nice photo indeed!

YEAH! congrats!!!

photografica said 567 days ago:

Cool. Featured with my first entry. It's got to be all downhill from here LOL :)

King said 567 days ago:

photografica...actually, we at WS always feature a new contributor's first image as a courtesy. It's *uphill* from here. Good luck.
Tip: Don't submit any grainy images

NB: For those with absolutely no sense of humor, the preceding was a joke, intended only to bring a smile to photografica's face.

Superb! I feel longing and sorrow in this shot....just what I would imagine from a ghost caught in this plane.
