The idea is pretty cool, and it certainly fits the theme. It's just very high contrast, and in this case I think it does the image no favors. Everything white seems blown out, yet the man's face is still pretty dark. might the light metering be off on this shot?

Great shot! A rare case where the human element doesn't detract from the theme; perhaps even amplifies it by comparison. I think it helps that we see him only from the belly up; there's enough symmetry in the tuxedo jacket, bow tie, etc, that go toward "geometry" in a sense...although too bad his tuxedo shirt isn't straight! For the theme's sake, if the line formed by his shirt buttons went right down the middle of the jacket, oh it'd be sweeeeet! At any rate, great shot!
