Someone mentioned on the Google Group that this was the first picture to make the main page without a comment. Well I will comment. I will be honest, I did not rate this picture highly and since it made the home page I have tried to see it differently, but I cannot. In the vernacular of this WeeklyShots forum, I would have to say it feels very average to me. I have hesitated to write a comment because I cannot put into words my reasons for rating it average or my general feeling that there is something missing from this shot. Then the shot from Mark at London Rubbish hit the main page and I compared the two. Very similar idea. Very different execution. Why do I like one more than the other? I wish I knew. Andy, I would like to explore this further, but don't want to write a comment that goes on forever (which it already has).

I liked this one from the start, but then Nelson's came along and won my heart. I guess the longer the tunnel, the better...

More specifically, the end of the tunnel is a little blown out... Perhaps some HDR combination would help?

Maybe just a rating was more useful then Bob?
