Interesting. I'd love to know how you pulled this off. I haven't had very good luck with multiple exposures.

Fun! I assume there was a shot where a fifth you filled another seat at the table...
The colors are a little blah, and the sky is blown out. But the idea is cute. Nice work.

I really like this idea and execution. Thanks for something a little different. I wish the sky wasn't so blown out, but other than that, bravo.

Nicely composed and effective image. Not the highest impact, but I cant fault the technique.

Well, another composed post but this time the topic description doesn't mention that it should be one shot. I like it. You could have achieved even more impact with different clothes, more overlaps, maybe some virtual interaction. Nice one with room to advance. :)

Thanks guys. :-) I had fun trying this, and would like to try again if I'm ever afforded the time! Maybe next time I'll use a better model, this one wouldn't smile for me. ;-)
Yes, it was a very dull day. I suppose I could have spent more time in PS....but I don't like fiddling with photos too much. Maybe when I'm better at it I'll pull out these files and see if I can't improve it. ... but I've said that before! I rarely go back and work again on old stuff. :-D
Yes, I had originally taken 6 different posses, but I didn't like two of them so I didn't use them.
How did I do this? Very badly apparently! :-D Seriously, I set my camera on a tripod, manually set everything including the focus. Used the camera's timer, being careful not to bump the camera, and ran and got in the shot. Repeated this a few times, moving into different spaces each time. Then I took my 4 different photos and layered them in photo shop. Working with each layer to remove the areas I didn't want and letting the other layers show through. I had some problem with exposure as the lighting did change a bit in between takes, so I had to adjust that in a couple of the photos to make it match the background...as I didn't want to spend all day cutting exactly around me in the photos....and I wanted to leave any shadows that might be present. I know there wasn't much shadow in this case as it was a very dull day, but that little bit does make a difference.

really good idea, and well done. I wish, however, that the person were doing different things in each shot.. maybe drinking coffee, reading the magazine, writing a letter....

Thank you Ana, I'll try to put more thought into the details next time I try something like this. I'll also use a model next time, as I hate being photographed, even by myself! I'm sure it shows in the photo.

funny :) and different.. nice one. i think the red and blue could have their saturation boosted a bit, to help stand out against all the brown wood/dull sky.
but great idea
