is that real? if so, then great capture!! the saturation on the corn is a bit too high for my liking though

Nice job.

Very relevant and excellent colors.

flipthom said 206 days ago:

This almost looks a bit fake. Maybe it's just the processing. I do like the color and the subject matter is obviously relevant.

Jem said 206 days ago:

This.. doesn't look realy? Almost looks painted at the front. Can you explain the post-processing, if there was any? :)
The composition and subject matter are great however!

abeddes said 206 days ago:

It's real. Thick clouds overhead, so the light was really flat. I therefore increased contrast and saturation quite a bit (always do, but even more on this one).

I'm amazed that all four birds are so sharp. I really like this image. I do wish there was a little less depth of field so the birds were more separated from the corn stalks, but I doubt you had time to set up for that.

This has four (sand hill cranes?) I've seen these guys hang around in pairs, but never fours!
This shot has a dream-like quality to it, and I can't quite figure out the DOF or focus.
The top half seems blurry? Maybe the colours are punched in the bottom half?
Hard to put my finger on it, but something is amiss!

Montage said 206 days ago:

I wish the focus was more on the birds than the plants, but I do like this shot a lot.

The birds seem to have a bit of a halo aruond them too, like the image has been overshaprned.

Great corn! Great motion.

Im suprised this hasnt featured. Apart from a quality issue on the birds, this is beautiful.

Awesome capture, looks like HDR. How does this not have a star?
